Skincare Essentials

I know first hand how hard it can be to get and maintain good skin… especially if you have no idea which products to buy.

I remember trying some things I found online only to get super red, irritated, and inflamed skin. I needed a simple routine that was safe for sensitive skin but still did the job of removing acne, blackheads, and unwanted dryness and oil.

After some years of experimentation, I finally cracked the code and you can too. I’ve sectioned off my favorite skin products into 4 categories (cleansers, acne treatment, essential oils, and daily moisturizers) for easy navigation.

Jan Mirini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser

This deep cleanser clears your skin of any grime and leaves your skin soft and hydrated. I love this cleanser because you can apply it dry and wash it off immediately with lukewarm water. I use it every night and honestly swear by it.

Rare Earth Deep Pore Daily Cleanser

If you’re looking for a natural cleanser that removes blackheads instantly, then this product is for you. Made with Amazonian White Clay, this product exfoliates and detoxifies your skin without any irritation. I use this cleanser every night, and it has worked wonders on reducing large pores and making my skin super soft.

Acne Treatment:

Jan Mirini Benzoyl Peroxide Acne Treatment Lotion

The antibacterial agents in this product literally ZAP away any acne overnight. Not only does this product minimize the appearance of acne but it prevents new acne from forming. It’s important to apply a layer of moisturizer before applying this product because of how effective it is. I usually dab a bit of it over any pimples once a night.

Bliss Fab Foaming 2-in-1 Cleanser & Exfoliator with Bamboo Buffers

I apply this face wash every time I hop in the shower. Oil free and made with rose hips, chamomile, and passionfruit, this product completely cleans your skin and makes it feel super soft and smooth (even for most sensitive of skin). I love how it bubbles and never leaves your skin feeling tight or dry – unlike most other face washes that are made with harmful chemicals.

Essential Oils:

Emerald CBD Deep Moisture Glow Oil

I know I know. CBD oil on your face? Trust me, this hemp-seed infused product is magic. I first tried the lightweight formula because my skin had this red tint that would never go away. However, after trying this product, the redness started to fade and my skin got SO much softer. Made with Shiitake Mushrooms and Ashwagandha Root, this oil seriously helps with any irritation and makes your skin glow beautifully.

Bio Oil

This oil is amazing at reducing the appearance of acne scars. It keeps my skin super soft and reduces redness and irritation with Vitamin E, natural chamomile, and lavender oil. I also love this product because it helps smooth uneven skin tones (light and dark) without clogging my pores. The glow you get from this product is insane.

Daily Moisturizers:

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion (PM)

After cleansing my skin, I apply this moisturizer generously each night. It’s such a good price and hydrates my skin just as much as any other more expensive lotion. It has a super light-weight feel that nourishes and heals dry skin gradually.

Cetaphil Daily Hydrating Lotion with Hyaluronic Acid

This lightweight, oil-free moisturizer is made specifically for those with dry skin. I use this product every morning to keep my skin feeling hydrated throughout the whole day.

CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 (AM)

If I know I’m going to be in the sun, I make sure to apply this lotion with essential ceramides and zinc oxide in the morning. Although this product has built in protection against sun-damage, it doesn’t feel like it. It’s super light-weight and won’t clog any pores.

And there you have it, all my essential skin products. I promise, if you use these, you will see incredible results on your skin and will be glowing like no other.
